The easiest way to reduce image size

A phone photo can take 3–8 MB. That's a problem for email attachments, application forms, messaging apps and especially websites. The image compressor typically cuts file size by 60–80% while keeping quality visually identical.

    How does it compress?

The tool re-encodes your image in the browser and discards unnecessary data according to the quality level you pick. You can also enter a target size in KB, set a maximum width and height, strip metadata and change the output format: JPG or WebP for photos, PNG or WebP for transparent images. You instantly see before/after sizes and the percentage saved.

    Why it matters for websites

Google uses page speed as a ranking factor. Compressed images make pages load faster, reduce bounce rates and lower hosting costs.

    How to use Image Compressor

    1. Choose the JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF images to compress.
    2. Set the quality level or target size and optionally the output format.
    3. Compare the old and new size of each file.
    4. Download the compressed images individually or all at once.

    Why this image compressor?

    • Images are compressed in your browser and never uploaded.
    • Batch compression for dozens of photos at once.
    • No watermark, no sign-up and no download limits.

    FAQ

How do I reduce photo size without ruining quality?

Keep quality between 70 and 85. In that range the file shrinks a lot while the difference is nearly invisible.

Why did my PNG files shrink so little?

PNG is lossless. Saving photo-like PNGs as JPG or WebP gives far bigger savings.

    Does it change pixel dimensions?

Only if you set a maximum width or height. To resize precisely, use the Image Resizer.

Is the compressed image good enough for my website?

Yes. Resizing it to the width it is displayed at on your site makes it even smaller.
