    Clean up your video's audio

    Phone vlogs, outdoor interviews, screen recordings and online lessons often contain wind, fan, air conditioning or traffic noise. The Video Noise Reducer cleans the audio track and creates a new video file without touching the picture.

    How it works

    • The audio track is decoded and cleaned with RNNoise
    • The clean audio is written into a new MP4 or WebM file with the browser's own encoder (WebCodecs)
    • The video stream is copied without re-encoding, so picture quality doesn't change

    If your browser can't encode audio for the container, you get the cleaned audio as a separate file.

    Is my video uploaded?

    No. Decoding, noise removal and muxing all happen in your browser. Very large files (over 500 MB or 10 minutes of audio) aren't supported in the browser version.

    Does picture quality drop?

    No, the video stream is copied without re-encoding.

    Can I use it on videos with music?

    The model is designed for speech, so it may remove part of the background music too.
