See all your image dimensions in one table

Websites, marketplaces and forms often require specific pixel sizes. The Image Dimensions Checker lists the width and height, megapixels, file size and orientation (landscape, portrait, square) of every selected image in a single table.

    Aspect ratio and real format

For every image the tool calculates the simplified aspect ratio (e.g. 3:2) and the nearest standard ratio (16:9, 4:3, 1:1 and so on). It also detects the real format from the file's bytes rather than its extension, so you notice files with a wrong extension.

    Batch and private

Drop dozens of images at once. All reading happens in your browser.

How to use Image Dimensions Checker

    1. Drop one or more images into the upload area.
    2. Review width, height, ratio and megapixels in the table.
    3. Check the orientation and real file format columns.
    4. Move on to the resize or crop tools if needed.

    Why use this tool?

See the dimensions of a whole folder of images in seconds instead of opening each file's properties.

    FAQ

Why are width and height swapped for my phone photo?

Phones store an EXIF orientation flag. Dimensions here are shown after that rotation is applied, the way the image is displayed.

    How are megapixels calculated?

Width times height divided by one million. 4000×3000 pixels is 12 megapixels.

    Which formats are supported?

Common formats your browser can open, such as JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG.
