CSV Viewer
Open CSV and TSV files as a searchable, sortable table without Excel; large files stay smooth.

Open CSV without Excel
To quickly inspect a report exported from a system, a bank statement or a product list, you don't need to open Excel or upload the file anywhere. The CSV Viewer shows the file as a tidy table in your browser.
Features
- Automatic detection of comma, semicolon, tab and pipe delimiters
- Click a column header to sort
- Search across all columns
- Export the filtered rows as a new CSV
Performance with large files
The file is parsed in a background worker and the table is paginated, so even files with hundreds of thousands of rows open without freezing the browser. UTF-8 files whose special characters Excel garbles display correctly here.
How to use CSV Viewer
- Choose your CSV or TSV file.
- The delimiter is detected and the table is built.
- Sort by columns and search.
- Export the filtered rows if you like.
Why use this tool?
Inspect sensitive tables in seconds without uploading them to any server.
FAQ
Is there a row limit?
There's no fixed limit; it depends on your device's memory. The table shows 100 rows per page, so files with hundreds of thousands of rows stay usable.
Why do special characters look wrong in Excel?
Excel sometimes opens UTF-8 files with the wrong encoding. This viewer reads the file with the right encoding.
Can I edit cells?
The tool is for viewing, sorting and filtering; use the other CSV tools to remove, merge or split data.
