Open Graph Tag Generator
Create Open Graph tags that control how your links look on Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp.
Make shared links look professional
When a link is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram or Slack, the title, description and image shown come from Open Graph (OG) tags. Without them, platforms may pick a random image or text, or show no preview at all.
Generated tags
- og:title and og:description
- og:image (with image dimensions)
- og:url and og:type
- og:site_name and og:locale
Image tips
A 1200×630 pixel image with a 1.91:1 ratio works best on most platforms. If the image contains text, keep the important part in the centre. Test the tags with the Open Graph Preview tool.
How to use Open Graph Tag Generator
- Enter the page title, description and URL.
- Add the share image URL.
- Set the page type and site name.

FAQ
What image size should I use?
1200×630 pixels works well on most platforms.
Why won't the WhatsApp preview update?
Platforms cache previews. Use Facebook's Sharing Debugger to refresh it; WhatsApp can take a while to update.
Do I need separate tags for X (Twitter)?
X falls back to Open Graph tags if twitter: tags are missing. Get the twitter:card tag from the X Card Preview tool to choose the card type.
