    FAQ

What's the difference between SRT and VTT?

Both are simple text formats; VTT is designed for the web, starts with a WEBVTT header and uses a dot instead of a comma in timestamps.

Are styles kept when converting ASS to SRT?

No. SRT doesn't support colour, position or fonts; only the text and basic italic/bold remain.

Which format should I upload to YouTube?

YouTube accepts both SRT and VTT files.
